Warwickshire CCC Is Bowled Over By APC Overnight Performance

Warwickshire County Cricket Club was stumped when it needed a next day delivery for collection at 6pm. When other couriers refused to play, APC Overnight willingly provided the extra cover and delivered the goods. As a result APC won the Warwickshire account and has maintained a record innings for its overnight services ever since.

The cricket club uses the APC Overnight’s local depot APC Trax Express service for next day delivery of important documentation sent from the famous Edgbaston ground to team members and visiting players.

“I had to find a courier fast at 6pm one evening for an urgent next day delivery. I had no luck with other local companies before speaking to APC Trax Express who immediately sprung into action. We have stayed with the APC Overnight network ever since,” says Julie Moseley, PA to the Chief Executive and Chairman, Warwickshire County Cricket Club.

Warwickshire is an extremely busy cricket club all year round, with activity increasing further during the cricket season. Looking after the Bears, ground staff, members and visiting spectators are the main priorities. Julie Moseley highlights that by using APC Overnight there is one less thing to cause concern as the network provides consistent service.

Warwickshire County Cricket Club traces its roots back to the early 1800s and its Edgbaston ground is known as the heart of cricket outside of London. For some players it is their favourite ground to play. This year Edgbaston embarks on an extensive building redevelopment plan. The new ground, and the enabling development, will generate new jobs and help to secure international cricket at Edgbaston for the next generation.
