Acceptable Goods
Items Not Acceptable for Carriage
Under no circumstances do APC carry any item that is marked with a diamond shaped hazardous sticker.
Other items which are not acceptable for carriage include animals and livestock, explosives, bullion, money, firearms, ammunition, fireworks and any item which is illegal under UK law.
Goods Not Covered by APC Liability Cover
There some items that can travel through the APC network but do so entirely at the senders own risk. APC does NOT offer any liability cover whatsoever for these items.

Standard Liability Cover
The standard contract limits the compensation payable to £13 per kilo, with an excess of £50 for each consignment.
Increased Liability Cover (ILC)
Increased liability cover can be purchased from your APC depot when booking the collection. You MUST declare the total value of the consignment at the time of sending the goods and you will be charged according to that value. The declared value must reflect the actual value of the goods being transported, taking into account the age and condition of the goods.
Maximum Cover
£15,000 per consignment excluding computer equipment, software, mobile telephones or other audio/visual equipment which is subject to a maximum of £3000 per consignment.
