I consider that my direct approach and the ability to react to situations, however insurmountable they seem, has enabled me to achieve my current position, and will also help me to succeed in the challenges ahead."

Syd is married with three fantastic children - a son and twin daughters.

Jon Barber

Jon Barber Jon Barber was appointed to the APC Board in January 2008, and is the company's Director of Marketing. He has also recently been appointed as a Founding Fellow of the Institute of Couriers.

Scarlet Couriers was one of the original 47 founder members of the APC network, and so Jon has been involved with the company right from the start. He believes strongly in a continuing process of managed change across the organisation to safeguard quality of service, streamline operations and promote a "can-do" culture - underlining the APC's position as the best in the industry.
